If you think mobile phones won’t harm you, then read this story about one of my patients. She had developed a serious melanoma on her upper right leg and got it treated. But she couldn’t understand the reason for the melanoma. As a pale, freckled woman, she always avoided the sun and protected herself when going out, so why the melanoma?
Then she realised that she often carried her mobile phone in a pocket on her right side, and it hit exactly where she had the melanoma.
Of course there may have been other factors leading to her cancer, but she was convinced that continual contact with her mobile phone was a major cause.
Given all the research linking cancer and mobile phones, it makes sense to take some protective measures.
Last year, faculty and staff of the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute were warned to limit their use of cell phones because of the risk of cancer, especially to children. Toronto’s department of public health issued a statement advising parents that young children should use cell phones for emergencies only, and teens limit their use to 10 minutes. Good advice.
We know how harmful electromagnetic frequencies from mobile phones and other appliances can be, so to help counteract their negative effects, we designed CHI’s Electromagnetic Detox Salts and Enviro Shield lotion. Our staff use them. You should too.
